Alexandre Iliach (Sasha Iliach)

I am always looking for 2D animation projects to work on.

I have worked in the field of 2-D animation for over 25 years. Presently, I’m working as a freelance animation director, animator, artist and compositor for a few animation companies in Toronto and Los Angeles, including 20th century Fox (The Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 and 3 – lead animator) Universal Pictures (Rubbel Die katz – animator), Disney (pilot for TV show “Kirby Gates” – animator, compositor), Head Gear Animation, Industrial Brothers and Cuppa Coffee.

 

At the same time I am teaching at Vancouver Animation School (VANAS).

I have independently produced several animation shorts. My work included development of concepts and styles, directing and animating. I’m capable of producing high quality work within very short deadlines.

Most of my animation work is done on the computer, and I am fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Painter and CelAction. I also can work in Toon Boom Harmony and Krita.

I have also done classical animation professionally. My drawing skills are very good. I have a sense of humor (I hope), a big imagination, and lots of ideas.
